HOW RELAYS TEAMS WORK

Half marathon relay teams share a SINGLE RACE BIB NUMBER attached to a provided waistband.
There are 3 legs of the half marathon relay with 1 exchange point at the Meadows Parkway East Plum Creek trailhead (MP Trailhead) just west of U.S. Highway 85:
- 1st leg (4.6 miles): Start line to MP Trailhead
- 2nd leg (4.7 miles): MP Trailhead to turn-around half way point and back to MP Trailhead
- 3rd leg (3.8 miles): MP Trailhead trailhead to Finish line
Parking at the exchange point is extremely limited – we recommend a non-running designated driver. It is the responsibility of the relay teams to know when their team member will be arriving at the exchange. This can be approximated by knowing each of the team members running pace and will help in estimating their arrival time at the exchange. Relay Team members must take bib from their incoming team member to make the exchange. Please return waistband to the volunteers at the Finish Line at the conclusion of the race.
Yes! You can run the half marathon solo but a team of 3 is so much more fun!
